Every experience follows five steps.

A 60–75 minute course, a locker-room huddle or a year of mentorship: each Wise Friend experience moves through the same rhythm. That rhythm is what turns an idea into a habit.

1

Experience

Start with a real moment.

We open with something people recognize: a pressure moment, a hard conversation, a long week. Skills stick when they’re tied to something real.

What’s covered

  • A short story or scenario from real life
  • A quick check of how people are arriving
  • Noticing what’s happening in the body
2

Learn

One skill or tool, in plain language.

How the brain is wired for threat, how long an emotion actually runs its course, and one practical tool for working with it.

What’s covered

  • The science, without the jargon
  • One tool people can use today
  • Drawn from CBT, ACT, DBT and MBSR
3

Discuss

Talk it through together.

People compare notes in pairs or small groups, often starting with a Inspire Card. This is where a skill becomes shared language.

What’s covered

  • Guided prompts and Inspire Cards™
  • Listening without rushing to fix
  • Hearing how others handle the same thing
4

Practice

Try it under pressure.

We rehearse the tool in conditions that feel like the real thing, because a skill you’ve never tried under stress is hard to reach for when it counts.

What’s covered

  • Role-play and real-time drills
  • Resets that take under a minute
  • Practicing a check-in with a peer
5

Reinforce

Make it a habit.

Like any fitness, it comes down to reps. Short follow-ups, the Life Plan™ and Wellbeing Surveys keep the skill in use and show what’s changing.

What’s covered

  • Life Plan™ goals and next steps
  • Follow-up prompts between sessions
  • Wellbeing Surveys to track progress

Mental fitness is built the same way as physical fitness.

Deliberate practice, in community, over time. Let’s find the right starting point for your people.
